EDD-3701x
The EDD-3701x is an intelligent EtherCAT controller from Galil. The device operates in a distributed EtherCAT network. Within a daisy chain topology, the common CAT5 Ethernet cable is used. An EDD-3701x is able to communicate with both Galil 's EtherCAT masters (DMC-500x0 and DMC-52xx0).

Single-axis EtherCAT controller for either servo motor, voice coil or stepper motor - EDD-37012 - 3-phase brushed/brushless with sine commutation; 10 A continuous current, 15 A peak current and 20-80 VDC
- EDD-37016 - Stepper motor driver with 1.4 A/phase and 12-30 VDC
- EDD-37017 - Microstep driver; 6 A/phase, 20-80 VDC and 2-phase brushless sine commutation; 10 A continuous current, 15 A peak current and 20-80 VDC
- Cyclic Synchronous Position mode (CSP) and Cyclic Synchronous Torque mode (CST)
- 2 EtherCAT ports with daisy chain
- 1 USB port for configuration
- Encoder up to 15 MHz. Quadrature standard; SSI and BiSS optional. Main and auxiliary encoder input
- PID control with software limit switch, notch filter and low-pass filter
