RIO-574x0 is a compact and cost-efficient EtherCAT I/O slave module. Equipped with digital and analog I/O's, it can be used remotely in an EtherCAT automation system. In addition to using a RIO-57000 in a conventional network with an EtherCAT master, it is also easily installed in an EtherCAT system with a Galil DMC-500x0 EtherCAT master.
Each RIO-574x0 has 16 opto-isolated digital inputs and 16 high-power, 500 mA sourcing, opto-isolated digital outputs. Configuration is carried out via the USB port and with the help of Galil's GDK software. Only a few steps are necessary. The RIO-57420 is available as a supplement and is equipped with a further 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs.
