With a roller air bearing, you have contactless and therefore friction-free bearings. This is achieved with a thin layer of compressed gas. The air serves as a lubricant that flows out of porous material. This allows you to move your load with high precision, dynamically and smoothly.
In a typical configuration, the roller air bearing is pressed onto the shaft with slight pressure. A housing is used to hold the air roller bearing, which can also have an individual design. You are therefore able to replace your existing roller bearing with an air roller bearing and benefit from the advantages of an air bearing.
