For Galil, 2015 ends with the entry into EtherCAT technology. Motion controllers are now available with master functionality. Up to 8 axes can be controlled via EtherCAT or, as before, the first 4 axes can also be controlled locally and optionally with internal controllers for stepper motors or servo motors (brushless or with, voice coils or other drives).
