Ratingen, 9.12.2014. KOLLMORGEN presented the "Best European Distributor" award to drive technology specialists ime GmbH from Rottweil at the sps ipc drives trade fair. The award ceremony took place during the traditional partner evening on the first day of the automation trade fair in Nuremberg. Thomas Sautter, sales engineer at KOLLMORGEN, particularly praised the creativity of the company from Baden Württemberg in developing drive systems for its mechanical engineering customers. With the title of "Best European Distributor", KOLLMORGEN also underlines the good relations of a partnership that has now lasted 30 years.
"A good concept is the prerequisite for a successful project," said Hermann Hirt from ime GmbH, referring to ime's role as an engineering partner for mechanical and plant engineering. Intensive consultation is at least as important as the products that are ultimately used. "We support our customers from the design to the operating phase." Thomas Sautter emphasizes ime GmbH's strength in always using the latest technologies for even better machines over decades. "This head start is what gives us the edge in the market," summarized Sautter at the award ceremony.
